On Friday, February 20, 2026, the Second Circuit issued a unanimous opinion affirming firm client SBK ART LLC’s right to take discovery from the law firm Akin Gump in connection with a sprawling European litigation over SBK’s stake in the Fortenova Group, a major Southeastern European food and retail conglomerate based in Zagreb, Croatia.
